About PageTurner Books

Nestled in the vibrant centre of Bristol’s cultural quarter, PageTurner Books Ltd is more than a shop—it’s a gathering place for readers, writers, and dreamers. Founded in 2012 by passionate locals, our independent bookstore has grown into a cherished community hub. From intimate author evenings to bustling children’s hours, every corner bursts with energy and conversation.

We hand-select every title, focusing on what ignites curiosity and broadens perspectives. Our shelves brim with a carefully curated mix of award-winning fiction, fascinating non-fiction, obscure gems, and collectible rarities. We also champion local authors and eco-conscious publishers, creating a truly Bristolian literary experience.

  • Locally owned and operated since 2012: Proud to support and reflect our Bristol neighbourhood.
  • Eco-friendly book sourcing: We source sustainably, prioritising recycled and second-hand treasures, and partner with green initiatives to minimise our environmental impact.
  • Advocates for literacy: Our ongoing partnerships with Bristol schools and charities help nurture the city’s next generation of readers.
